See the whole course before it is built
Why MagiCastor shows you the complete course plan before it writes anything, and why that saves more time than it costs.

Many course tools work the same way. You give them a topic, they write everything, and then you find out what you got. If the structure is wrong, you are now editing a finished course: moving lessons around, rewriting quizzes and deleting what does not fit.
MagiCastor does it the other way around. It shows you the plan first.
What the plan shows
The plan is the whole course on one page:
- every section, in order
- what each section covers
- the activities in each section, such as a lesson, a quiz or an assignment
- how many questions each quiz carries

Why the plan comes first
Reviewing a plan is quick. Unpicking a badly built course is not.
A plan is the cheapest moment to change your mind. Moving a section in a plan is a drag. Moving it after the course is written means rewriting the parts around it. Swapping a quiz for a discussion in a plan is a quick change. Doing it later means throwing work away.
It also keeps the expert in charge. The person who knows the subject decides what the course covers and in what order, before any text exists. The writing follows their structure, not the other way around.
Nothing happens unasked
Reading your material and drafting the plan cost no credits, and nothing is written or added until you approve. You can stop at any point, or leave the draft and come back to it next week.
When you do approve, the course is written first, so you can read it and redo any single section or activity. Only then does it go into your learning platform, as a new course that stays hidden until you publish it.
The difference in short
Write first, fix later: you discover the structure at the end, when changes are expensive.
Plan first: you agree on the structure at the start, when changes cost nothing.
